Gift of Life
The Gift of Life foundation is the London-based sister organisation of the Podari Zhizn foundation – one of Russia’s largest charity foundations, dedicated to helping as many as 2,000 children suffering from cancer each year. Podari Zhizn foundation offers hope and practical care to children and young adults whose families cannot afford treatment for cancer. Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters, Podari Zhizn saves the lives of dozens of children through the provision of vital medicine and treatment, while providing support for children and young adults – Russian citizens resident in Russia or the CIS – up to the age of 25.
ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
The Royal Academy of Arts was founded by George III in 1768. The 34 founding Members were a group of prominent artists and architects, including Sir Joshua Reynolds and Sir William Chambers, who were determined to achieve professional standing for British art and architecture. They also wanted to provide a venue for exhibitions that would be open to the public and to establish a school of art through which their skills and knowledge could be passed to future generations of practitioners.
